Les Voies Blanches
The house is a semi-troglodytic limestone construction whose origins go back to the 16th Century, and expanded in the 18th Century. “Les Voies Blanches” (the White Paths) is an ancient vineyard that comprises old caves for storing wine, as well as an old winepress.
The original buildings have been restored and enhanced in order to provide accommodation with a unique touch.
For instance, the double knock of the Jaipur room is there to impress,and in the Arusha room, the old feeding dish of the stable transformed into dressing table provides a magnificent support for the water faucet. In the Valaam room, the roof window inserted into the old ceiling is there to surprise!
The Loire reminds of the Volga, and this has served as a source of inspiration throughout, as all the rooms represent cities cradled by some of the greatest rivers in the world.
Vouvray, situated on the shores of the northern shores of the Loire, is known for its fine white wines. The Loire river, wild and royal, is an entry point to the magnificent region of the Touraine, rich in historical monuments and landscapes.
